No. Teachers and tutors receive their full agreed payout for approved work. TeachConnect’s service fee is paid by the school or parent on top of the teacher payout — never deducted from teacher earnings.

TeachConnect reviews your timetable, identifies uncovered periods and clashes, matches certified teachers, student teachers, graduates, or specialists by subject, time, location, and duty scope, and manages protected payouts that are released only for approved work.

Yes. Parents and diaspora families can request trusted tutors for after-school, private, and online Nigerian-curriculum lessons, define the lesson scope, fund lessons safely, and release payouts only after approved lessons.

How much does TeachConnect cost?

Accepted Answer

School plans are billed per term: School Access ₦60,000 (15% service fee), Staffing Operations ₦225,000 (12.5%), Full Staffing Engine ₦450,000 (10%). Parents pay a one-time ₦20,000 tutor request fee ($20 for diaspora families). Teachers and tutors pay nothing — joining, verification, and matching are free, and the service fee is always added on top of their pay.

How do schools know a teacher is qualified?

Every teacher is verified before placement — identity, qualifications, and references, scaled to the role, including TRCN register lookup where the role requires it. Schools see verification status on every profile before approving a match.
