Refund Policy

When schools and parents are refunded for funded teaching and tutoring contracts, covering undelivered work, cancellations, and resolved disputes.

PlatformLast updated March 2026

01The principle

Because payment is based on approved work, money funded for work that is never delivered or never approved can be refunded. You pay for approved periods, lessons, or milestones — not for work that did not happen.

02Undelivered work

If a teacher or tutor does not deliver part of a funded contract, the funds protecting that undelivered part are refunded to the school or parent, less any fees that have already been earned on work that was delivered and approved.

03Cancellations

If a contract or lesson package is cancelled before work begins, the funded amount for the uncompleted work is refunded. Where work has already started, completed and approved work is paid out and the remaining protected balance is refunded.

04Service fees

Service fees attached to work that was delivered and approved are generally non-refundable, since they cover the service already provided. Fees on refunded, undelivered work are returned with the refund.

05Disputed work

Where a dispute leads to a refund, the refund follows the outcome under the Dispute and Approval Policy. We aim to make refunds promptly through the original payment method.
